The Association for Specialist Fire Protection is the trade association for the passive fire protection industry, with more than fifty years of standing. It brings together over 350 members, from global manufacturers to independent contractors, along with consultants, testing and certification bodies, to raise standards across the built environment. It publishes widely used technical guidance, including the Yellow Book on structural steel fire protection and documents covering firestopping, fire doors and fire-resisting ductwork, and operates a competence framework with approved training courses, CPD-accredited modules and qualifications. It also runs national conferences, seminars and webinars.
