Association for Preservation Technology International
The Association for Preservation Technology International is an interdisciplinary organisation dedicated to advancing appropriate traditional and new technologies for the care and protection of the built environment, and to exchanging conservation knowledge across the international community. Administered from Springfield, Illinois, it operates through a network of regional chapters and some twenty-one committees. It publishes the APT Bulletin, its flagship journal, along with Practice Points and other publications, holds an annual conference and study tours, and supports the Building Technology Heritage Library, a free online collection of historic architectural trade catalogues hosted by the Internet Archive. It also maintains a job board and career resources for preservation practitioners.
