Architecture 1B

Architecture 1B is a small architectural practice based in Horbury, West Yorkshire, taking on projects of varying scale across a broad mix of sectors. Its work covers new build, extensions and alterations, masterplanning, home building, conversions, apartments and houses in multiple occupation, as well as retail, office, leisure, education, industrial and healthcare buildings. Conservation, renovation and the repurposing of existing buildings are listed as one strand of this range, which forms the heritage element of the practice. It also works for community interest organisations, charities, trusts and grant-funded clients. The practice describes a design-led approach that is tailored to each brief. Clients planning the conversion or careful renovation of an older building in the Wakefield area, particularly charities and trusts, may find it a useful local practice to contact.
