Archer Thatching is the business of Chris Archer, a thatcher based in Kingsclere with more than 30 years in the trade. He works in all three principal thatching materials, wheat reed, water reed and long straw, and sources material as close to the job as he can. Work is carried out across the south of England, including Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Sussex, and he will consider any thatching requirement from repairs upwards. Chris states he is a long-standing member of the National Society of Master Thatchers.
