Alba Stone Masonry

Alba Stone Masonry restores and conserves historic, listed and modern buildings in Bristol, Bath and the South West. It removes paint and cleans stone with the DOFF system, which it describes as suitable for listed buildings. Masonry repairs include repointing, replacing decayed stones with matched new stone, consolidation and waterproofing. The firm also carves and replicates decorative elements such as cornices and keystones to match existing work. It builds and restores stone walls with traditional materials and repoints in lime mortar. It also removes unsuitable cement and render from period buildings where these are trapping moisture.
