The Rectangular Pipe to Round Connector provides a transition fitting between a cast iron rectangular downpipe and a cast iron round downpipe, allowing the two pipe systems to be joined cleanly in a single run. Used where a rectangular pipe at the upper part of the elevation transitions to a round pipe — for example where the rectangular section connects to a round underground drainage system, or where an existing round pipe is being connected to a new rectangular installation above.
An important practical fitting on heritage restoration projects where the existing above-ground pipe is rectangular and the below-ground or transition pipework is round. The H460 accepts round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, and 100mm diameters. Square pipe connections are available in 75×75mm, 100×100mm, and 125×125mm. Rectangular connections include 100×75mm, 125×100mm, and 150×100mm options. Connection type is selected at the point of order.

Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations. Size selection depends on the distance between the mounting point and the rooflight frame, and the desired throw (opening distance). BS 460:2002 is the British Standard governing cast iron rainwater goods — gutters, pipes, and fittings. It sets the dimensional tolerances, materials, and performance requirements a component must meet, so that joints seal, sections align, and the system performs as a whole rather than as isolated parts. All Tuscan Foundry Products components are manufactured to comply with BS 460:2002, which is worth citing directly in specification documents and listed building consent applications. The same manufacturing standard applies to bespoke and copy-cast work, even where the profile itself isn't from our standard range.
The H526 measures 440mm wide x 240mm deep x 460mm high, making it well suited to Victorian and Edwardian townhouses.
