The RB500G46 is a top rafter rise and fall bracket for the G46 moulded cast iron gutter. Where open eaves construction or the absence of a fascia board requires fixing to the top surface of a rafter, the RB500G46 provides a secure, adjustable support that allows precise fall setting across the gutter run. The bracket cup is dimensioned specifically for the G46 moulded section — the larger Victorian and Edwardian ogee profile — ensuring a correctly seated fit.
Available in both G46 profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″). Zinc-plated steel finish for outdoor corrosion resistance. The threaded rise and fall cup eliminates shimming and allows accurate gradient control on long runs or complex roof lines, which is particularly important on the large Victorian and Edwardian buildings where the G46 profile is commonly found.
Specified on listed buildings and heritage restoration projects where the G46 moulded pattern is the historically correct profile. The RB500G46 is the G46 equivalent of the RB500 bracket range, dimensioned for the wider and deeper G46 section.

The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.
BTU stand’s for British Thermal Units. This was the old (Imperial) measurement for heat in connection with plumbing. Although BTU’s is a term still commonly used within the heating and plumbing, the industry is now going over to KW’s Kilowatts.
The H460 is well suited to Georgian, Regency, and Victorian buildings where a plain, undecorated rectangular hopper is the appropriate choice — particularly listed properties, conservation area buildings, and institutional or commercial buildings in historic town centres. Its clean, restrained form makes it equally appropriate on modern heritage-style construction where period accuracy is required without ornamental detail.
All of our cast iron radiators are availbale as standard with a 1/2″ BSP (15mm) connection. We are though also able to supply many of our radiators and valves with 3/4″ BSP connections. Due to the size proportions of some radiators and valves 3/4″ connections may be more suitable.
Our standard spike or sturt length is 300mm (12″). Other sizes are available upon request.

The Polished Brass finish suits buildings where brass metalwork was standard — formal Victorian terrace housing, civic and institutional buildings, and high-quality estate architecture. It is appropriate on listed buildings and conservation properties where the wider ironmongery specification is in brass and a matching material is required.
For rooflights directly above a worktop or sink, a telescopic screw-jack hand winder is the most practical choice. Available in polished brass, satin chrome, and polished chrome, these openers allow controlled ventilation from a fixed handle position without requiring a pole. The 150mm or 250mm size is typically appropriate for standard-height kitchen rooflights.
