A genuine cast iron rainwater pattern the G46 or No.46 is available in two profile sizes. The profile is a larger version of the more traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern and offers increased capacity.
The cast iron G46 moulded gutter 90 degree angle provides a square corner fitting for the G46 pattern — the larger and more decorative Victorian ogee profile found on country houses, civic buildings, and substantial period properties across England and Wales. The full moulded cross-section is maintained through the angle, preserving the visual weight and character of the G46 profile at every change of direction on the building.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in both G46 profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Important: the G46 90 degree angle is not interchangeable with common ogee angle fittings — all fittings must be sourced from the G46 range to ensure correct fit and profile match.
Specified on listed buildings and heritage restoration projects where the G46 is the historically correct pattern. Accepted by conservation officers as the appropriate fitting for period rainwater work on substantial Victorian and Edwardian properties.
Compatibility: G46 moulded cast iron gutter 125mm and 150mm only. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

Our cast iron airbricks are supplied in primed finish, ready for on-site painting. This allows them to be finished to match the existing ironwork or masonry colour of the building. Standard black gloss is the most common finish for conservation and heritage projects.
The Ornamental Airbrick is most appropriate on Victorian Gothic buildings — churches, chapels, vicarages, almshouses, collegiate buildings, and high-specification estate architecture — where decorative ironwork was part of the original design. It suits listed building replacements in kind and heritage new build where period accuracy in detailing is expected.
Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building classes. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.
The School Board Airbrick is suited to Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, mid-century school buildings, civic halls, public baths, and converted institutional buildings. Its plain square-grid face matches the utilitarian aesthetic of late-Victorian construction and is also appropriate for new heritage-style builds in conservation areas.
The Brass Rooflight Pole Winder Opener 300mm is a screw-jack operated rooflight opener designed for manual control of timber-framed skylights and Lumen Rooflights. The 300mm fixed arm is suited to standard rooflight positions and is finished in polished brass.
Yes. Cast iron airbricks are frequently specified for listed buildings and conservation area properties precisely because they replicate the material and pattern of the original Victorian and Edwardian ventilation grilles. Local conservation officers and building control typically accept like-for-like cast iron replacements without objection. We can provide product specifications and material datasheets to support applications.
