Bespoke Projects
Copy casting and bespoke work is a core part of what we do — reproducing a pattern from a photograph, a measured drawing, or a surviving fragment, and casting it to match. This gallery is a growing record of that work: reference material, patterns, and finished castings from special-order commissions rather than our standard catalogue.
Every bespoke item starts from what you can send us — photographs, drawings, or the damaged or missing piece itself — and typically carries an 8–10 week lead time once the pattern is agreed.

Frequently asked questions
What is copy casting?
Copy casting means reproducing an existing or damaged cast iron component so the replacement matches the original — same profile, same detailing, cast from a new pattern taken off what survives or from photographs and drawings.
What do you need from me to get started?
Whatever reference material you have available: photographs, a measured drawing, or the damaged or missing piece itself. For complex or awkward sites, a site survey often pays for itself by avoiding a mismatched casting later.
Read more about our bespoke and copy casting service, or find out about our site survey service if you are not yet sure what you need. Get in touch with a photograph or drawing and we will confirm what is involved.
