Our brackets are more commonly used on cast iron rainwater systems. Unlike plastic, cast iron is heavy and the weight keeps the gutter in position. As such our brackets do not normally have retaining clips which could lead to plastic or lightweight gutters blowing out of the bracket. The profile of your gutter should match that of our bracket but without the weight to keep it in place you may well encounter problems in bad weather.

Yes. The Louvre Airbrick is dimensioned to standard brick course openings and is suitable for direct replacement of worn, broken, or missing original cast iron louvre grilles. If you are unsure of the size required, measure the opening in the brickwork rather than the existing damaged grille.

We are able to place dates and initials and insignia onto most of our flat faced rainwater hopper heads.

The H460 is well suited to Georgian, Regency, and Victorian buildings where a plain, undecorated rectangular hopper is the appropriate choice — particularly listed properties, conservation area buildings, and institutional or commercial buildings in historic town centres. Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building grades. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.

The louvre face provides directional airflow and offers some resistance to driven rain entering the subfloor void, making it a practical choice for exposed elevations or properties in areas with significant prevailing wind and rainfall. The square-grid (school board) pattern offers a larger open ventilation area but less weather protection.

Our cast iron airbricks are available in three standard sizes: 225mm × 75mm (single course), 225mm × 150mm (double course), and 225mm × 225mm (square format). These correspond to the standard airbrick positions used in Victorian and Edwardian brickwork. Each size is available across the School Board, Louvre, and Ornamental pattern ranges.

The Brass Rooflight Hand Winder Opener – Telescopic is available in 150mm, 250mm, and 300mm sizes. The telescopic mechanism provides flexibility to accommodate varying rooflight positions and throw requirements. Throw: 165mm.

Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations.
