The RB501DH is a zinc-plated side rafter rise and fall bracket for plain deep half round cast iron guttering. Where there is no fascia board — on open eaves, timber-framed buildings, or structures where rafter-face fixing is preferred — the RB501DH provides a secure, adjustable support mounted directly to the side face of the rafter.
The bracket features a zinc-plated steel rafter arm for side-face fixing, combined with a threaded rise and fall cup that allows gutter fall to be set precisely at each bracket position. Available in four sizes to suit the standard range of deep half round gutter profiles: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), 125mm (5″), and 150mm (6″).
Typically specified on heritage and conservation projects involving deep half round cast iron guttering where the roof construction dictates rafter-face rather than fascia fixing. Also used on refurbishment projects where the original fascia board is absent, damaged, or structurally unsuitable as a fixing surface.
The rise and fall cup allows precise gradient control along the gutter run regardless of rafter angle, eliminating the need for shimming or packing. Zinc-plated finish for outdoor corrosion resistance.
