Polished chrome has a bright mirror finish, while satin chrome has a brushed, low-sheen appearance. Both are available in the telescopic hand winder range. The finish choice typically depends on the ironmongery specification for the project.

Top rafter rise and fall bracket for half round cast iron guttering. Our zinc plated
top rafter rise and fall gutter bracket is available in the following sizes:
100mm (4″)
115mm (4.5″)
125mm (5″)
150mm (6″)
The RB500 is a zinc-plated top rafter rise and fall bracket for plain half round cast iron guttering. Where a fixed bracket is not appropriate — on open eaves, cut roof constructions, or where the rafter provides the only available fixing point — the top rafter bracket provides a secure, adjustable support mounted directly to the top surface of the rafter.
The bracket features a zinc-plated steel rafter arm for top-surface fixing, combined with a threaded rise and fall cup that allows gutter fall to be set precisely at each bracket position. Available in four sizes to suit all standard cast iron half round gutter profiles: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), 125mm (5″), and 150mm (6″).
Suited to new construction with exposed rafters, heritage restoration projects where a continuous fascia board is absent, and any situation where top rafter fixing is structurally preferred. Commonly specified alongside cast iron half round gutter sections and angle fittings on period and listed building projects where precise fall control is critical to long-term performance.
The rise and fall mechanism eliminates the need to pack or shim the bracket, allowing accurate gradient setting across long gutter runs on uneven or complex roof lines. Zinc-plated finish provides corrosion resistance for outdoor use.
Compatibility: Cast iron half round gutter profiles 100mm, 115mm, 125mm, and 150mm. For technical queries or project specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

Yes. Cast iron airbricks are frequently specified for listed buildings and conservation area properties precisely because they replicate the material and pattern of the original Victorian and Edwardian ventilation grilles. Local conservation officers and building control typically accept like-for-like cast iron replacements without objection. We can provide product specifications and material datasheets to support applications.
The Ornamental Airbrick (OAB) is available in three sizes: 225mm × 75mm (2.8kg), 225mm × 150mm (4.1kg), and 225mm × 225mm (5.8kg). All sizes have a uniform depth of 75mm, making them consistent to install across a subfloor ventilation course.

The School Board Airbrick is suited to Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, mid-century school buildings, civic halls, public baths, and converted institutional buildings. Its plain square-grid face matches the utilitarian aesthetic of late-Victorian construction and is also appropriate for new heritage-style builds in conservation areas.

Tuscan Foundry's cast iron hopper heads are available in Standard Black and Heritage Colour finishes. A linseed oil paint finish is also offered — a sustainable, vapour-permeable option particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. Heritage colour swatches are available from the team on request.
Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations. We recommend confirming the pattern with your conservation officer as part of any listed building consent application.
