The LCC Soil Blank End is a cast iron cap fitting that seals the socket of a soil pipe section — used to close off an unused socket or terminate a pipe run where no further connection is required. Also used during phased renovation work to seal a pipe end temporarily until the connection above is made, preventing drain gases from escaping from an open pipe end during the works.

The Polished Brass finish suits buildings where brass metalwork was standard — formal Victorian terrace housing, civic and institutional buildings, and high-quality estate architecture.
