A genuine cast iron rainwater system with the traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern.
The cast iron ogee gutter 135 degree angle provides an obtuse corner fitting for the ogee profile, handling bay windows, angled elevations, and returns where a square 90 degree turn is not appropriate. The ogee S-curve is maintained through the fitting, preserving the architectural character of the profile at every junction on the building.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002 and available in the three standard sizes: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), and 125mm (5″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Commonly specified on Georgian and Victorian properties — particularly bay-fronted terraces, villa-style houses, and rectories — where angled elevations require the 135 degree fitting to complete the run correctly.
Accepted by conservation officers across England and Wales as the appropriate fitting for period cast iron ogee rainwater work on listed buildings and conservation area properties.
Compatibility: Cast iron ogee gutter 100mm, 115mm, 125mm. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

BTU stand’s for British Thermal Units. This was the old (Imperial) measurement for heat in connection with plumbing. Although BTU’s is a term still commonly used within the heating and plumbing, the industry is now going over to KW’s Kilowatts.
Satin chrome has a brushed, low-sheen finish suited to contemporary interiors, while polished chrome has a bright mirror finish. Both are available in the telescopic hand winder range at Tuscan Foundry. The choice typically depends on the existing ironmongery specification.

Yes. The Louvre Airbrick is dimensioned to standard brick course openings and is suitable for direct replacement of worn, broken, or missing original cast iron louvre grilles. If you are unsure of the size required, measure the opening in the brickwork rather than the existing damaged grille.
Yes. Cast iron airbricks are frequently specified for listed buildings and conservation area properties precisely because they replicate the material and pattern of the original Victorian and Edwardian ventilation grilles. Local conservation officers and building control typically accept like-for-like cast iron replacements without objection. We can provide product specifications and material datasheets to support applications.
It is possible for us to supply towel warmers with an electric heating element in them. The Electrad system is a unique system available to us, that enables independent heating of towel rails and radiators via the properties electrical system.
Our cast iron airbricks are available in three standard sizes: 225mm × 75mm (single course), 225mm × 150mm (double course), and 225mm × 225mm (square format). These correspond to the standard airbrick positions used in Victorian and Edwardian brickwork. Each size is available across the School Board, Louvre, and Ornamental pattern ranges.
